Prayer Requests

Since we firmly believe in the tremendous power of prayer through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, we have set up this page for our visitors. If you have a prayer request you would like posted here, simply Email it to us and we will post it here.

Please keep requests legitimate and serious. Legitimate requests will include such things as illness, deaths, weddings, births, and any other type of struggle or blessing in your life. Prayer requests for our nation are OK. If you do not wish to disclose personal details of your situation, that is fine, just give a general idea of what we are praying for. Names and email addresses will be posted with each prayer request unless otherwise noted. Prayer requests will remain on the site unless you ask for them to be removed.

Please pray for my family as we have our first Christmas without our daughter. Her name was Andree and she was only 17. Overwhelmed with life, she took her own life. My name is David Lewis, my truck broke down about 6mths ago so my wife borrowed a car from her friend to get us around for a while because we have 7 children, well we just recently received a phone call from her friend pertaining to the car and she said the guy who owns the car wants to repossess it so she gave directions to the real owner of the car to our house where it was to come get the car. It is real understandable due to the fact we don't own the car. Now we don't have a vehicle to use and we live out here in a town called Zalma, Missouri population is 93 total and we have 7 children to worry about. You would think that the neighbors around would be kind enough because their country folk but that is not true around here so we are pretty much stranded without help. We asked the local church people if there might be some help for us but they said that you have to be a member of their church before they help anybody else around the community. I was raised a Pentecostal Christian all my life and also baptized in the Holy Spirit and I have always turned to God and church for help when things got rough. I am originally from Long Beach, California and I never had church people turn down somebody when they're in time of need especially when they have kids.

I would like you to put a Prayer in for our family that God will help us out with getting a vehicle soon. Living out here in the country is very rough especially when you live down here on a 4 mile gravel road. I do believe God will work a miracle for me and my family because I know he doesn't want us to lose what little we have. I have been disabled since 2003 my wife does private home health on the side so now things are very rough without a vehicle. My son and his beautiful wife, who is 23 weeks pregnant, have just learned (as of last Fri afternoon) that their baby (my 1st grandchild) will be born into the world as a "little person". This came as an absolute shock to everyone as there is absolutely no history of impaired genetics that would have given us any idea that such an event would occur. Nonetheless, this is God's will and everyone is 100% in agreement on bringing this baby into the world.

Please pray for Wes and Amy that the cruelty often extended by others does not affect their happiness. Please pray for my new granddaughter that she be born physically and mentally healthy and that no complications will surface above what we already know.

Please pray for our family. Due to job loss we must sell our home as we have not been able to make ends meet. We have finally surrender it all into the Lord's hands and he has made a way for us to buy our parents home at a good price. We will be leaving a home that we love and will have to give up our beloved roller pigeons and their awesome loft that we built! This will all happen over the next few months. Our sweet friends Ben and Kim Dunn gave birth to a precious baby boy yesterday morning! Happy Birthday Hayden!
Kim went in for a weekly check up, and the Dr. had difficulty finding the heartbeat. Kim was rushed for emergency C-Section. The umbilical cord was wrapped around his neck 6 times. He was resuscitated and care flighted to Grand Junction without his parents. He is in critical condition and having difficulty regulating his temperature, blood pressure, etc. Kim is holding onto the faith she has. Ben is really struggling. They are not believers. PRAY, PRAY, PRAY for the restoration and healing of this sweet child! Pray that God's divine intervention be known, and that HE will be Glorified in the life of this little one. Pray for Ben and Kim and everyone and everything around this situation. 11/14/08
