Mosaic is an accident, if you will. It is commonly thought that Mosaics are the results of two sperm fertilizing the same egg. Thus, essentially melting two birds into one. Mosaics are quite rare and are not bred on purpose. Only in extremely rare cases will Mosaics breed Mosaics.
