Grizzle has a very wide range of effects on Pigeons and can be in combination with virtually any other color or modifier. Grizzle can be expressed any way from a white bird with a few colored feathers to a dark bird with just a few white feathers.
Torts are simply Blue Grizzles that show some Bronzing.
Mottles are a type of Grizzle that appear on Spread birds such as Black, Recessive Red, Dun, etc. Many Mottles start out as solid colored birds and moult in White beginning with their first adult moult. Mottles can be anywhere from a solid colored bird with just a few White feathers to a nearly White bird with just a few colored feathers.
