darker colored head and a lack of or lightening of the tail bar in
Checks and Bars. |

This bird is Andalusian
Qualmond. It is a cock bird and also carries Brown. David
Strait loaned this bird to me a couple years ago and, through test
matings, we were able to discover the true genetic makeup of this bird.

 The three pics
above and the middle picture below are all of the same bird. It is
a Reduced Indigo Bar. Notice the pastel appearance of the adult
plumage (above left, middle) in comparison with the juvenile plumage
(above right). There is also an excellent shot of the wing (below
middle).
