I have a pigeon that I rescued out of a parking lot. He was someone's pet because he came to me of his own free will. He now enjoys following me around my house and landing on my head and shoulders. He's really an amazing pet but I can't keep him. I have accepted a traveling job and now must find him a good home. He is located in Louisville, KY and anyone in the area is welcome to come get him if they can assure me that they will provide him a good home. There is no charge. My only request is that you treat him well. I have a 50 lb bag of pigeon food and an indoor cage that you may have as well. The food is open but barely used. Someone who has multiple pigeons would make an excellent home for him because I think he's lonely as he's attached himself to me and my dogs. He loves to play with the dogs and peck their noses. I've never seen a bird like this and it breaks my heart to let him go but I have no choice. I also have some grit that will go with him as well as the toys I've purchased for him.

Also, if someone is interested in me shipping him to them I request that they prepay all the shipping expenses including a proper shipping container and have that mailed to me and I will return him. Interested parties may need to educate me on the shipping procedure, and obviously it will have to be some sort of rush delivery. I won't be willing to ship him over multiple days or anything like that. Also, I request if they are interested in the cage and bird feed that they also pay shipping for that. Email 9/29/08
